Please be praying for my family. My daddy went home to be with Jesus in his sleep last night. I praise God that He is always good and know that my dad is having the best time right now, but we miss him so much while we are here. More later...
Shelly, I just came from hugging your mom! Your dad was a huge cheerleader for me and my husband on our journey to becoming debt free. When he brought FPU to Essex Alliance, it saved our financial lives. His energy and passion for the FPU program was inspiring and so needed by so many people. Shelly, so sorry for your loss. I met your dad when he spoke at MOPS last year & met with him re: FPU. He was such a wonderful, caring man who'd give us a smile everytime we saw him. HUGS & Prayers are with you & your family.
Dear Shelly; You probably don't remember, but I met you once about 12 or 13 years ago. Your dad and I were friends in high school - my best friend through my teen years. We went separate ways for many years, but the internet allowed us to talk from time to time years after high school. Even as a kid, he was responsible and honorable - probably more so than the rebel that I was becoming at the time. I hope you and your brothers will recognize though, that he taught you all the real important lessons in life: Love God, love your family, do what you say, and building people up makes you stronger. Greg was a good man... a strong man where it really counts. Sad as it is, carry on his lessons in your life... And know that you and your family are in my prayers.
